Frequently Asked Questions
1. Question: How much is my print worth? Answer: To determine the value of your particular art, whether it be an actual oil painting, Limited Edition Print Double Signed by Michael Gentry (with or without "Remarks") or an Estate Signed Limited Edition Print, we recommend having it appraised by a reputable, licensed art appraiser who is familiar with Michael Gentry's work. The value of Michael Gentry's work changes with the trends in Current Market Value.
2. Question: Can you tell me more information about my print and/or the current market price for it, because I want to sell it? Answer: We offer this service for a $25 fee per piece of art. You need to provide as much information about your art as possible, as well as, your phone number and the best time to reach you, so that a representative of Michael Gentry Studios may contact you. You will receive information about your particular piece of art and the current market value. Please note: The price value quoted for your particular piece of art may vary from time to time, as supply and demand changes for Michael Gentry's work and prices may increase with the trends in Current Market Value. We cannot guarantee that your piece of art will sell at the current market value that is quoted for your piece of art, it is only to be used as a guideline for what that particular piece is listed at, at the time the value is provided. We have no control over the world art market prices, supply or demand.
3. Question: My insurance company needs the value for my artwork for insurance purposes. Can you provide me with the value? Answer: See #2 above.
4. Question: Will you purchase my 2nd market print? Answer: We usually do not purchase prints, but depending upon which print it is, we may consider it from time to time. We are in the business of selling Michael Gentry artwork to serious collectors who value our honesty. The artwork that we have for sale is Authentic, straight from the Michael Gentry Vault. There "may" be on a rare occasion where the estate will purchase back an original oil painting or a "very rare" Double Signed by Michael Gentry print with "remarks" but only if it can be proven to be authentic and we will inform our customer as such.
5. Question: What is the difference between a Limited Edition print that is Double Signed by Michael Gentry and an Estate Signed Print? Answer: See the paragraph on the top of the Gallery Page.
6. Question: Do you have a Gallery where I can come in to see the artwork in person? Answer: No, we have this wonderful website where you can see photos of Michael Gentry's Artwork. On occasion Mrs. Gentry's assistant will showcase Michael Gentry's artwork at local events.
7. Question: How do I know what artwork is available if it is not listed for sale with a Shopping Cart Button on the Gallery Page? Answer: Send an e-mail request for information including your phone number to: info@MichaelGentry.net . All e-mail will be answered as soon as possible via e-mail reply and/or phone call.
8. Question: Do you accept credit card payment and other forms of payment for my purchases? Answer: Yes, we accept credit card payments via PayPal, a very secure online payment service. Please contact us prior to sending payment to receive shipping costs for your purchase. International shipping rates may be higher then quoted for customers within the United States.
9. Question: Who is Gypsy de Rose Enterprises? Answer: Gypsy de Rose Enterprises is our Webmaster and handles the financial transactions for Michael Gentry Studio sales through this website. If you need additional information about a particular print, contact: info@MichaelGentry.net or Sales@MichaelGentry.net , provide your phone number and the best time to reach you and a representative from Michael Gentry Studios will contact you.
10. Question: I own a piece of Michael Gentry Art and I want to know if I can photograph it to list it on my website and/or make copies of it or make prints of it? Answer: All Michael Gentry Art is COPYRIGHT Protected and the property of Michael Gentry Studios. You may NOT photograph, copy and/or in any way reproduce any of Michael Gentry's Art.
11. Question: But what if I own an original oil painting of Michael Gentry Art? Answer: See #10 Above. ALL Michael Gentry Art is COPYRIGHT Protected and the property of Michael Gentry Studios. You may NOT photograph, copy and/or in any way reproduce any of Michael Gentry's Art. Even if you purchased an original oil painting, you may not make prints of it, as Michael Gentry Studios owns any and ALL Copyrights to it.
